In Stanley Kansas Kenneth Ingle aged 4 fell into an uncovered utility pole hole 20 inches in diameter and 5 feet 9 inches deep. He drowned in 21 inches of water yesterday after his tricycle and wagon were seen near the hole. Oliver Ingle, the father, reported the hole had been dug in August about 200 feet from their farm home.
A Salina two year old, Lawrence Scott Johnson, was struck and killed when he ran into a two row corn binder operated by his father Nels Johnson Jr. He was playing near the field with his grandfather and four brothers when the child suddenly darted into the path of the machine.
Raymond Allen Snowden, 36, an itinerary laborer from New England and New York, was hanged in Boise for the stabbing death of Mrs. Cory Lucyle Dean, 48, of Boise. Dean was found murdered in Garden City after a Sept 21, 1956, stabbing spree following a quarrel over a taxi.
