Veterans Day Parade Delights Hundreds on Main
Hundreds lined Main Street in 55 degree weather to watch a 45 minute Veterans Day parade. Twelve school bands and drum corps provided the music while student football queens rode in convertibles. EUB Church Pack 100 won best float with After the Battle, followed by WWI Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary in second and third. Local veteran groups participated with color guards, motorcades, and floats. The day ended with a free beef stew feed by the American Legion and an amateur show at the Memorial Building.
