Two Young Riders Hurt In St. Paul Car Crash
In a one car wreck one mile west of St. Paul on highway K57 about 10:20 last night two youths from St. Paul, Bryan O'Brien 19 and Vickey Elmore 14, were injured. Elmore suffered a fractured collarbone, mouth injuries and forehead cuts while O'Brien had bruises and forehead cuts. Both were taken to Labette County Medical Center in Parsons. Sheriff George Neely said a wheel broke on the 1954 Chevrolet causing loss of control and a collision with a bridge. the car was a total loss.
