Research in State Near $40 Million During the Year
Expenditures for research and development will total close to 40 million dollars this year, said directors of the Research Foundation of Kansas. Private sources are expected to provide about 21 million, the federal government about 14 million, with the state funding the remainder. The survey results were released through Gov. William H. Avery’s office.

Burglar Steals Gun and Provisions From Cabin
