A three year old boy in Iola Kansas was fatally injured Thursday afternoon when struck by a pickup. Dwayne Curtis Brooks son of Mr and Mrs Vaughn Brooks died in hospital hours later. Eldon Duane Baugher a 31 year old Iola school teacher said the boy ran into the path of the pickup from behind a parked car. The boy was a grandson of Mrs Vaughn Brooks Sr and the late Vaughn Brooks.
