The Class of ’71 at Chanute High School nears year end with finals this week and diplomas awarded to 213 candidates at commencement in the Memorial Building. Honor speakers included Dennis Gates Teri Tharp and Tim Thus ton. Le Chanter sang and the band played the processional under Mrs Randy Haines and Al Hampton.
