Bus Crash Kills 30 Choir Students in Martinez Calif
A Yuba City High School choir bus plunged off the Martinez Benicia Bridge guardrail into the bay, killing 30 students and injuring at least 30 more. The bus carried 51 choir members plus two adults and the driver en route to a performance.

Air Midwest pledges full Kansas service expansion
Air Midwest spokesman Jim Pickett said the Wichita based airline will fully provide its 10 year CAB approved service to nine Kansas communities and one Colorado town starting late this year or early next year. The program hinges on delivery of four 19 seat Metroliner turbo props and will begin with phased schedules, aiming for a full certificated run by late 1976 or early 1977.
