Final Effort in Search for Missing Hannibal Boys
In Hannibal Missouri a large excavator was brought to highway 79 to search the road bed for three boys missing a week. Joey Hoag 13 Billy Hoag 11 and Craig Dowell 14 were last seen with a shovel and two flashlights near Murphy's cave. Rescue volunteers from Mark Twain unit Red Cross and other communities joined the search as Red Cross set up a disaster headquarters.
