Tremor Shakes Holds Tulsa area over weekend reports

An intercepted letter notes Scouts and campers will visit Chanute over the weekend. Eastern Oklahoma lies on a fault line with occasional mild quakes. Groves Leaves Chanute Chamber of Commerce

Jack Groves resigns as Chanute Area Chamber of Commerce manager to become executive vice president of the McPherson chamber. He will start June 2 and a search for a new manager begins. Groves oversaw remodeling, a broadened regional scope, and a budget increase to $20,000 with three new committees. He credits members for rising activity. Scout Show At City Park Draws 1500 Participants
