Saigon area battles erupt on three flanks after 30 overnight rocket strikes. Allied losses include 1 American killed and 9 wounded, 6 South Vietnamese killed and 28 wounded, while Viet Cong and North Vietnamese casualties total 127 across four engagements near Ben Tre Tay Ninh and east of Saigon.
