The Chanute JayCees voted unanimously to broaden the Miss Chanute Pageant to the entire Chanute trade area. Entry rules cover 18 to 28 year old high school graduates never married from towns like Humboldt Yates Center Buffalo Altoona Thayer Galesburg Erie St. Paul Walnut Stark Lavonburg Elsmore and nearby communities with a March 29 deadline. Two entrants so far.
