Three Die In New York Nursing Home Fire
EDMESTON N Y three persons perished early today in a fire that destroyed a nursing home near the central New York village. Seven patients were rescued.The victims were Mrs Adelaide Strait about 50 her seven year old son Adelbert and patient Sherham Dennison about 70 Mrs Strait a widow who operated the home lost her life while trying to rescue her boy. The fire was discovered by Mrs Strait about 3 20 am she telephoned the alarm and was trapped in the flames when she returned upstairs to try to find her son Be Vitamin Sure.
