Fair and cooler outlook across Kansas for Friday
Forecaster Tom Arnold warned of a 15 to 20 degree drop as a front moves in. The forecast calls for fair skies through Friday with cooler air in the west and north tonight, overnight lows 25 to 35, and Friday highs in the 50s across the state. February traffic accidents in Chanute reported
Seventeen accidents involving 35 drivers, six trucks and 32 cars were investigated in Chanute in February. Five drivers were female, 30 male. Two cited for defective brakes.
