Wichita detective tests two volunteers in theft inquiry
H M Tomlinson returned home after administering lie detector tests to two volunteers here. Police say one man appeared to lie about a theft of station wagons from a local warehouse while the other admitted truth on tires but lied about another detail. Names not released. Tomlinson will provide written reports to police and county officers. The Kansas Highway Commission announced bids on July 12 for sealing projects in Neosho and Allen Counties, including 9.5 miles on Highway K6 and 13 miles north of Highway K6.
