Kansas Governor Robert Docking told the Midwestern Governors Conference that governors must protect states from unwarranted federal encroachment. He urged states to provide services to prevent federal takeover and outlined Kansas executive reorganization progress.
Construction continues on two new medical buildings in Iola. Dr. Gerald Pees and Dr. George DeTar are expanding offices to accommodate three physicians, with a third doctor expected soon. A separate building is also being erected for Dr. Vern Le, local dentist.
The Probate Court of Neosho County Kansas appointed Joe F Balch executor of the will of Ernest F Van Laningham deceased on June 7 1972 and issued Letters Testamentary to him on June 12 1972. Creditors heirs devisees and other interested parties are notified to govern themselves accordingly.
