Jail Breakers Are Recaught Near Garnett Kansas
Two prisoners escaped from Anderson County jail using a makeshift key and were recaptured Friday. Carol Stanford Prock, 31, was seized near Wichita after abandoning a stolen car. Richard Carey, 20, surrendered in a wooded area 14 miles west of Garnett after leaving another stolen vehicle. Prock had federal warrants for post office robberies in Quenemo and San Antonio. both were jailed for fraud and parole violation respectively.
