About 200 Holstein cattle infected with tuberculosis from two Kansas and two Nebraska herds were slaughtered. The herds were located in Washington and Marshall counties Kansas and Gage and Jefferson counties Nebraska. Some animals had already been sold to other dairies and markets before infections were found, potentially affecting up to 88 farmers.
