Hitchhiker Killed In One Car Crash Near Reno
A hitchhiking sailor was killed when a car on U. S. 40 blew a tire at 60 to 70 mph and left the road. Three other occupants were injured. Everett M. Roark 24 of Henley Mo died instantly as the car rolled four to five times. Jerry Bingham 20 of Topeka Kan Lane Morrisette 17 of Fallon Naval Air Station and Donald G Mast 18 of Fallon NAS were seriously hurt. Morrisette led the car. Roark and Bingham were hitchhikers.
