Farmers' share of food dollar falls as marketing costs rise
Kansas State University economists Mildred Walker and Joe Kropf note that marketing costs exceed production costs for most foods and that the farmer's share averaged 42 cents of every dollar in the prior year. They warn that the 1980 outlook favors a wider farm retail price spread and a smaller farmer's share.

ALTOONA Edgar Hutchinson uses a stock rack that can hold stock or hay and has a slide in camper attached. He extended an 8 foot camper to 20 feet creating bedroom dressing kitchen and dining areas with paneling and cabinets. The Hutchinsons use the camper on trips including Colorado. The Camp Hopper Chapter of National Camping and Hiking Association hosted a kitchen shower for the camper during an Area II campout at Toronto.
