L. W. Smoky Wilson of Anadarko Oklahoma brings a prairie schooner and oxen to Chanute for the state centennial. The exhibit, which has drawn national publicity in Look magazine Wide World and the New York Times Sunday magazine, travels with Virginia and Wayne Wilson. It will be camped at City Park and shown daily with a Monday parade and pageant performances. The display includes sod plow oxen shoes pioneer clothing and a 44 revolver with historic notches.

Preliminary Waived In Check Case In City Court
