The Santa Fe owned coal burner Old 762 faltered on its final move to Santa Fe Park after being donated to the city earlier this year. A Dodge City crew under E R Kemper attempted to move the locomotive onto the park site, but rain softened ground and a ditch caused it to bog down. Wheels on the moving equipment sank in mud as they worked to free the locomotive at 1:30 p.m.

Mickey the 25 Year Old Cat Passes at Home
The 25 year old cat Mickey owned by Mrs. 8. R. Horsley of 1802 S. Ashby died Friday from old age. The pet had been in failing health for four years and lived on broth in recent months. Four Year Old Stabs Baby Brother in Junction City Home
