Bombers Collide Near Carrier. Two Pilots Feared Dead
Two single-seat attack bombers collided while approaching an aircraft carrier during maneuvers off the California coast some 400 miles west of Los Angeles. Navy officials said Cmdr. Milton K. Youth collapses after strenuous pool swim
