Six people were injured when the Elk River bridge on U S Highway 160 near Longton Kansas collapsed. Cars fell about 40 feet to the river bed. Injured include Ernest Parrish and his family Scott 12 Gwenda 14 Samuel 84 and Clarence Bentley of Wichita. They were hospitalized at Sedan.
