Caney Kansas offers Merlin Hall a two thousand dollar year one loan toward medical school with four thousand more over a second year plus internship. The plan forgives quarter of the principal after ten years of practice and halves the rest after five. The moral obligation is to return and stay in Caney.
President Nixon asked Congress to enact a government spending ceiling of 250 billion dollars for fiscal 1973. He warned he would veto any bills he sees as excessive.
