Stroud 69 was transferred from the federal prison in San Francisco Bay to the federal medical center at Springfield Missouri. Stroud known for his work on bird diseases at Leavenworth and for writing Strouds Digest of Disease of Birds was moved after a letter to attorney Stanley Furman. He says he now has more space and freedom in the ward and has seen a TV for the first time since 1909.
