Forger Identified In $36.83 Check Fraud Case
Marion Edward Lunn an itinerant forger age 72 has been identified as the man who passed a 36.83 bogus check at Sherwin Williams paint store June 4 police said. Identification came from a photograph shared with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and FBI. FBI records show 15 arrests for Lunn on check charges across five Midwest states dating back to 1920. The check paid for a three gallon paint with 23.60 change. He rented a room at 317 S Highland for one night and claimed to paint a garage at the Highland address. At 3 30 a m the next day he was seen leaving the house with the paint left behind.

Exploding Fumes Fatal to Two
An explosion of paint remover fumes in Wichita Kansas fatally burned two men. Leroy Williams aged 18 died Thursday night and Clarence A Ford 27 died today. Firemen said both were burned over 90 to 95 percent of their bodies while redecorating a basement at Ford home. A pilot light on the furnace apparently ignited the fumes.

Collision damages two classic pickups at Main and Western
