Kansas 26 percent of insured motorists face premium increases effective today. Commissioner Fletcher Bell cited 204 firms under the Insurance Services Office with an annual rise of about 2.15 million dollars and an average statewide hike of 8.7 percent for liability and 14.8 percent for physical damage.
