Burns Fatal for Santa Fe Worker at Ness City

US 69 Job Bids Soon
The Kansas Highway Commission will open bids January 30 in Overland Park for a 24 mile four lane section of US 69 from an interchange with I 435 to 87th Street. The project includes a divided roadbed, concrete pavement and four bridges. Bids will also be received for 8.3 miles of Kansas 16 southwest of Fostoria to the west with a 44 foot roadbed and widened shoulders.
