The Red Cross bloodmobile hit its 200 pint goal today near 1:15 PM with Phillip Embry becoming the 200th donor just before noon. An anonymous donor has now given 8 gallons 3 pints. Mrs. Ed Ranz led 20 volunteers who served meals to donors as collections continued yesterday afternoon and today up to 1:15 PM.

The total expense increase exceeds 381,250 dollars not counting mileage.
Topeka AP Frank Lombard of Enterprise was named Thursday as chairman of the Kansas Forestry Fish and Game Commission. The only Democratic member, Lombard serves at large. He succeeds Robert Wells of Garden City.
Unified School District 472 Neosho Heights will elect five board members on April 4 with three regular terms and two unexpired terms across Stark St. Paul Galesburg and Thayer. Contests exist for districts 1 and 2 while district 3 in St. Paul has an incumbent unopposed. Concurrently Unified District 414 Erie faces three candidate filings with holdovers. A merger vote is planned for April 4 with an interim board if approved.
