Herbert Swender a 14 year old of 215 West Elm and Nancy Kihm a 13 year old of 615 Hillside Drive won first place at the Chanute Optimist Oratorical Contest held at Six Bulls restaurant Saturday night. They competed against 10 contestants with the topic Give me your hand.
