Three highway patrolmen and a Tustin officer respond to a sports car rollover on the Newport Freeway finding the occupants unhurt. The driver is a 30-year-old exotic dancer with a venomless cobra a rattlesnake and a boa constrictor. She explains the snakes are part of her act and officers assist in corralling them.
Ralph E. Hill operates a home shoe repair parlor at 124 N. Grant after arthritis damaged his fingers and a back injury left him with a partially paralyzed leg. He moved from Burlington to southeast Kansas last December and started repairing shoes after learning the trade in Yates Center.
An intelligence technician testified he did not hear the Pueblo intelligence officer give orders during the attack.
