Fire at Ervin Brune home confined to kitchen
A Thursday night kitchen fire at 102 N Larson largely stayed in the kitchen with help from Michael Brune a college student who sprayed flames with a garden hose until Fire Chief John Erickson arrived. Smoke damaged the whole house and water damage was limited to the kitchen and adjoining living room. The exact cause remains undetermined though it likely started near a rotisserie.
