The vessels built for Israel were reported moving through the eastern Mediterranean toward Israel, nearing Egyptian air range, and they left Cherbourg in the early hours of Christmas Day.

He studied with Helen Cronemeyer in 1965 and with Mrs Spencer Gard from 1966 until March this year. He plans to resume after year end and aims to attend Wichita State University studying music theater or restaurant management. He is active in his church choir Panther Booster club and Group 10 and works part time at a local store and restaurant. He prefers piano for expression and notes sacred school music should not be banned.
President Nixon signed a 4.8 billion housing bill aimed at revitalizing the public housing program and easing urban renewal impact. The measure authorizes funds for one year toward the 26 million unit goal and requires replacement low income housing for each slum dwelling razed in urban renewal.

A 24-year-old Kansas City man, Jerry Don Madsen, was captured Sunday afternoon by the highway patrol in connection with a hit and run on the Kansas Turnpike and the theft of two cars. Neosho announces Ran delle J. Hayes will become city manager Jan. 6. Hayes, 57, currently Chanute city manager since 1957, will replace William Christopher who resigned in December to return to Westminster, Colo. Hayes has past city management posts in Wray, Colby, and Augusta Kansas.
Anti-American protesters attacked a limousine carrying U.S. Ambassador Henry Byroade and his wife as riot police kept them back when Vice President Spiro Agnew and his wife arrived for a reception at the U.S. Embassy. Riot police moved the crowd of several hundred leftists across the embassy compound.
