Holiday guests fill Altoona area for Christmas visit
The Altoona community hosted and visited relatives during Christmas week. Residents including Mrs. Nellie Elliott, Mrs. Lois O’Farrell, and families from Wichita, Bartlesville, Fredonia, and Rolf joined in dinners, tea gatherings, and gift exchanges. Eastern Star members held a party at the Masonic hall. Sunshine and carols accompanied visits to the aged.
