Two Area Residents Die in Two Car Collision
Two Neosho county residents died in a two car collision five miles north of Erie. Winifred Buchanan 71 of St. Paul and Leon James 27 of Erie were killed when the sedan struck James as he worked alongside a state highway crew cutting a fallen tree on US 59. Lula Kensinger 75 of Erie was injured and transported to Labette County Medical Center. The truck driver Wesley L Laneles 33 of Newton was uninjured.
