Three Children Hurt In Train Bus Crash
Three Platte Valley school children were injured when a Burlington passenger train struck their bus six miles east of St. Joseph Missouri. Driver Frederick Moser tried to stop but the bus slid onto the tracks on packed snow. Jimmy Hawk nine Nancy Hawk seven and Hilton Sander thirteen suffered facial lacerations and a bruised thigh. All were taken to a St. Joseph clinic. The train sustained no damage.
