Four Children Die In Chester Fire
Four children perished in a Chester Pennsylvania home fire Wednesday night. Police say an overheated oil stove caused the blaze. Victims are Diane Wright nine, Don Wright eight, Keith Waites three, and Gregory Waites two, all children of Dolores Waites. Dolores escaped through a window she smashed and was treated for a arm laceration. Her husband Phillip, thirty eight, was at work at Sun Ship building and Drydock Co.

Charles Whitmer and Ishmael Martinez suffered cuts and bruises in a single vehicle crash south of Iola on US 59.
