Louie Jean Adams of Chanute was found guilty by a city court jury of operating a motor vehicle under the influence. Judge Robert Pennington fined $125 plus costs after a 40 minute deliberation. Bond for appeal to district court was posted by defense counsel George Donaldson. State was represented by County Attorney Charles Forsyth. A blood test reading of .29 percent supported the charge.
