Planning commission approves mobile home park proposal in city
The City Planning Commission approved a request by Jerry Phillips to build a 24 unit mobile home park on the north side of West Mulberry at North Larson. Final approval goes to the City Commission. Utilities and safety conditions were outlined, including LP gas options and street lighting requirements. The commission also endorsed a federal funding application for Chanute area wastewater studies with local cost share.

Woman murdered near Frontenac leaves few leads
