Fatal two car crash west of Chanute claims Chanute resident
Jane Dewey a 19 year old Chanute resident died on arrival at Neosho Memorial Hospital after a 1 49 pm collision on K39 west of Plummer. Hassan Ashi 22 an Emporia State College exchange student received minor injuries while Fran cis Mock 58 and his grandson Allen Puderbaugh 6 were uninjured. Mock and Puderbaugh were not harmed in the crash investigated by highway patrol sheriff and Chanute police. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Johnson Mortuary.
