Ford enjoys White House life despite family not pursuing politics
President Ford told UPI that life at the White House has been surprisingly good for his family though none of his four children is inclined toward politics. He recalled the initial concern after becoming president in August 1974 following Nixon’s resignation and said the family has adjusted extremely well with Betty Ford also adapting smoothly.
