Church services resume in Earlton after 1968 gap

The non denominational Old Country Church of Evangelistic Enterprises reopens under Rev. R A Perley with Sunday services at 10 30 am and 7 30 pm and a 10 am youth service plus Wednesday Bible study. Morans who gifted the church buildings provide no salary. congregation has 60 attendees Sunday and 30 youths at the youth service. Moonlight Carol peaches weigh about a pound each from the Oliver Wendeln sapling.

Nixon Arrives in Romania in Bid to Ease Cold War Strife

Harmless neck bomb device disassembled in Festus

A 19-year-old youth had a device clamped around his neck and was found harmless after bomb disposal experts opened it. The device held a string and a battery inside four copper tubes. The 60-year-old teacher who placed it on the youth was detained. Miller described the device as a time bomb.
