Rose Is Sentenced To Be Executed In Oklahoma
Judge Elvin J. Brown sentenced Robert Steig Rose to death for the 1950 beating death of Dr Edwin Debarr a University of Oklahoma professor. The execution date is set for October 20 in the electric chair at the state penitentiary. Rose aged 60 was convicted January 29 1958 and arrested after a lengthy manhunt.
