MIAMI Fla AP The chief federal narcotics agent in Miami and two police vice squad officers were charged with accepting a bribe from a dope peddler who said he paid about 2000 dollars monthly for protection. Arrests occurred at the informer's home after a marked money payoff. The trio, Eugene J Marshall 39 Roosevelt Tremble 34 and Sgt Frank Fountain 39, posted bonds. Police Chief Walter Headley linked the arrests to a weeklong probe sparked by the informer's complaint that protection money was demanded.

Protests Grow Over Easton Firing At Kansas
