Two Boys Dead Found in Abandoned Ice Box
In Los Angeles two young boys Albert Arebalo eight and David Anthony Fennessy two were found dead inside an abandoned ice box. Deputies recovered the bodies after a several hour search in a nearby chicken shed. Fireman R F Britton said the deaths occurred about five hours earlier. the boys were sons of the Fennessy and Arebalo families. two mothers are expectant.

Two Ex-Convicts Charged With First Degree Murder
Topeka prosecutors charge Curtis Shoop and Albert Roy Miller with first degree murder in the slaying of Clarence L. Shields a 32 year old Topeka policeman. Officers say Shoop admitted firing the fatal shot during a burglary attempt at the Moose Lodge and Miller admitted taking part. Shoop also confessed to 19 burglaries in the area. Both suspects are held without bond. Shields ran a trucking business in his off hours and reportedly did not recognize the men when confronted on the roof.
