Sunrise services are planned by several churches. The First Baptist Church hosts the Chanute Area Ministerial Alliance sunrise service at 6 30. Zion Lutheran and St Peter's Lutheran Humboldt plan their 16th annual sunrise service at 6 a m at the Neocha Drive-in north of town.
Methodist youth from High Prairie and Buffalo churches will hold a sunrise service at Buffalo Lake at 6 this Sunday. Music by combined youth choirs will open the event. After services, several churches plan to share Easter flowers with rest home residents.
