First National Bank Becomes Trust Company in Middletown

Middletown's First National Bank will be renamed the First National Bank and Trust Company after OCC approval and Federal Reserve delegation of trust powers. Petit Jurors Drawn for County Court Term in Goshen

A panel of 60 petit jurors was drawn at the County Clerk's office for the County Court term that begins on the second Monday in March in Goshen. High View Creamery Changes Hands

The Lexington Creamery Company of New York City buys High View Creamery in Mar 3 transfer and will take possession Tuesday. The new entity, supplying milk in New York, already operates several other plants and purchases from Jones Brothers Tea Company owner of Grand Union stores led by J Spencer Weed. The merged firm will continue supplying the Grand Union stores.

War veteran's shell shock aids sentence suspension

Terrence Fealon, 38, a former Canadian Army serviceman with no address, told Recorder Howard M. Starr of wartime nerves after pleading guilty to public intoxication. Fealon's sentence was suspended following his account of service on the Western Front in the late World War.
