Zipkin case adjourned to March in Orange County court
The Zipkin case involving Louis Zipkin, salesman for Reskin Brothers reporting goods of Middletown, indicted for second degree grand larceny by cashing firm checks, adjourned until March by Judge Ruselk Wiggins at the January term of the Orange County court at Newburgh. It is understood Zipkin will plead guilty in March after admitting the amount taken. Also, Rodger Mahoney, who signed Dr J Raymond Cahill’s name to a 56 check on November 9, 1926, was sentenced to 10 years in the state penitentiary by Judge Wiggins. The January term saw no criminal trials.
