Farm prices edge up 1.5 percent in September
UPI report from Washington says raw farm product prices rose 1.5 percent in September reversing August’s decline. Increases in cattle, hogs, milk and wheat led gains while citrus, soybeans, potatoes, corn and sorghum fell. Livestock and crops average 11 percent above a year ago with costs 14 percent higher.
