Hawkeye Institute animal science farm in Waterloo captured the champion carcass pig plaque at the Dysart fall barrow show. The 31.8 inch carcass had 1.37 inches back fat a 7.4 square inch loin eye and 47.9 ham and loin percentage the highest yet. Cecil Frank of Mt. Auburn earned the reserve plaque with 47.27 percent.
